5 Easy Tips to Declutter and Organize Your Kitchen This Week (Plus Top-Rated Product Recommendations!) 🍴✨
Hey there, friends! If you're anything like me, you know that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and keeping it clutter-free and organized can feel next to impossible, especially if you have kids. But, I've got 5 easy tips to help you declutter and organize your kitchen this week, along with some top-rated product recommendations that'll make the process a breeze and much easier to maintain.
But before we dive in, a quick note— if your budget or the size of your cabinets don’t allow you to buy products for your kitchen, guess what? You don’t have to. A good declutter will do wonders, then putting items back in organized sections will make a huge difference!

Clear those countertops! 🧹
Start by taking everything off your countertops and giving them a good wipe down. Once they're sparkling clean, only put back the essentials you use daily. For everything else, you have a choice: keep, toss or donate. If items don’t belong in the kitchen, put them into a “move later” bin and sort them after you’re done in the kitchen. A clutter-free countertop does wonders for your kitchen's overall appearance! And for those must-have items, try repurposing something like this fruit organizer to keep things neat and tidy.
Tackle your pantry with clear bins and baskets! 🥫
There's nothing more satisfying than a well-organized pantry but first take everything out of your pantry and trash anything that’s expired or stale. Then grab some clear bins or baskets (I love these iDesign Kitchen Bins and these water hyacinth baskets) and start sorting items by category, like canned goods, snacks, and baking supplies. Label each container to keep track of what's inside, and you'll never waste time searching for ingredients again!
Spice up your life with a spice rack! 🌶️
Is your spice cabinet a mess of random jars and containers? Time to get that sorted! A good spice rack, like this one that can go on the wall or cabinet door, can make all the difference in keeping your spices organized and easy to find. Plus, it'll free up precious cabinet space!
Organize your pots, pans, and lids! 🍳
Are your pots and pans piled up in a jumbled mess? Let's fix that! A sturdy pot and pan organizer, like the Simple Houseware 7 Adjustable Compartments Pot and Pan Organizer, will help you store your cookware neatly and make it much easier to grab when you need it. Say goodbye to noisy cookware avalanches!
Show your drawers some love! ❤️
Last but not least, let's declutter and organize those drawers. Toss or donate any mismatched utensils or items you no longer need. Then, invest in some adjustable drawer dividers (I adore the customizable SpaceAid Bamboo Drawer Dividers) to keep everything in its place.
As always, start in sections and move at a pace that is right for you. Organizing the kitchen can take a good amount of time, which many of us don’t have. Set a timer for 20 minutes and see what you can get done. Then move on to the another section next time. Step by step, drawer by drawer, you'll be well on your way to a decluttered and organized kitchen this week. Happy organizing! 🎉
Love,
Kim
