Owner of Tidy in the Desert
Tidy in the Desert is a home organization business located in East Mesa, Arizona and serves all of the Phoenix Valley and beyond (thank you, Zoom).
A native of New Jersey, I moved to Arizona in 2020 with my husband and young son. A lover of “order” and calm, I have been organizing and creating systems my whole life.
Before Tidy in the Desert, I previously co-founded a pet adoption website and iPhone app in 2013, and my leading role was lead product manager for web and iOS. So systems, processes, and problem-solving are inherently in my nature.
The creation of Tidy in the Desert is very personal to me. I moved out here in the middle of the pandemic with no family or friends near by, a newborn in my arms and complete and utter chaos in my mind and my home. I didn’t have the energy or the mental space to take take back control of my home. Until one day, I was just ready. I started with my vanity drawer and cleared everything out. Bought a lovely vanity organizer set and was surprised by how calm and accomplished I felt just by doing this one small drawer. Suddenly my very rushed morning routine with my small family seemed far easier to accomplish thanks to this one drawer.
And shortly thereafter, Tidy was born. I want to help the new parents find their extra diapers at 2am. I want to help the busy professionals avoid an anxiety attack when they open their pantry to make lunch or dinner. I want my clients to walk into their home and feel at ease because they know they can find what they need, when they need it.
It is truly my pleasure to be welcomed into your home and life, and I hope I get to work with you soon.
